gotta hella lucky today, jumped in the queue at like 11:50 and I was only the 2000 person in line. my partner got in right at 11:30 and she was 22000 lmao. but I snagged tickets to the saturday show in Chicago babyyyy
I feel like the concert ticket bubble may have finally burst, in a way (ie tickets are TOO EXPENSIVE) because there are a shit ton of tickets still avaiable for all the LA shows in a few weeks
Didn't she have to cancel a show in Pittsburgh last time because so many tickets hadn't been sold? I just do not think she's as big of a concert draw as a lot of people think she is. But yes, tickets are too expensive for pretty much all shows these days, and I think we're going to see more and more pushback.
Beyonce is a massive concert draw lol, let’s not be foolish. The LA dates are mostly sold, stadiums are pretty massive. I’m willing to bet the week before those prices drop and sell. She’s doing 5 nights. Ticket prices are insane now though and with how awful the economy is… I wouldn’t be shocked if people just don’t go anymore.
Yeah Beyonce is still a draw...her popularity is not the issue, it's the ridiculous prices of the tickets. I have seen lots of people, both online and in-person say they would go if the ticket prices were cheaper. Pittsburgh was also the only date of the entire Renaissance Tour that was cancelled, the rest of the tour was entirely sold out (Renaissance World Tour - Wikipedia)
The LA dates are "mostly sold" technically, but a big part of that is simply scalpers... I mean, this is one of the Friday shows and they all look like this, a TON of seats available across the board, and this doesn't take into account stubhub which looks the same. and this is my exact point, Beyonce IS a massive draw, a absolute titan, but the prices of tickets plus scalpers isn't great for these shows right now
I think right now, it's a bit of an inbetween space where the scalpers are gonna get the most fucked, which is cool, but still a bad scenario all around.
yeah, lots of stadium shows are looking like this too I’ve noticed. Scalpers will be the ones taking a hit which is great in that aspect but overall not great cus they won’t lower prices for anything if the tickets are getting eaten up by scalpers.
As someone who missed the renaissance tour (only ever saw her at beychella), I’m very glad she’s playing like half that album
