And that is more or less what I want it to be now. Add in Mordecai and All Bodies. Everything after Colors was whack imo.
Whatever came after Colors was the last thing I listened too. I just fell off of them and I haven't listened so I can't say if they are a whack or not. I'm sure it'll probably be almost indentical with possibly a encore of a song or two that rotate. Who knows.
I like their newer stuff too, but Colors is definitely my favorite they've done. Catch me at the St.Pete, FL date on 10/18.
is anyone driving to the boston show from western mass? would be super appreciative of a ride, can split gas & provide snacks
i'm moderately excited. i need to binge colors out before i go to this because it's been a bit since i've given it a proper listen. that'll prolly get me hyped.
Finally bought tickets for this in Santa Cruz, 3rd party cause they sold out months ago. Super stoked but scared for my wallet cause merch
Moderately excited for the Chicago show in 10 days. Hopefully the nostalgia pangs make this a quality show.
looks like I'm gonna be missing the tour because of distance and class workload :/ v sad but oh well there'll be videos of the whole thing up hopefully and it'll feel close
Anyone think they will do a 10 year tour for The Great Misdirect? I'm not a huge BTBAM fan but I love that album and would be cool seeing it played in full.
I was sincerely hoping this would happen. Held off on buying a copy for a while because of this. So stoked
Between the Buried and Me Setlist at The Theatre of Living Arts, Philadelphia DAT ENCORE. Don't click if you want to be surprised.
Honestly, I'd prefer anything from Alaska other than Selkies if they were going to play a song from that album. Play All Bodies, the title-track, or The Primer. I get that Selkies is always going to be a fan fave, but eh...I just got burnt out on it.
Or Earth. But I'm assuming most people here aren't into drone metal... It should be a well known fact by now that you could replace BTBAM with Munch's Make Believe Band and not be able to tell the difference in terms of performance. As long as they sound great, I don't care. *shrug*
Slayer may have been the worst live band I've seen Was super excited for all of Reign In Blood at Riot Fest when I went, but they sounded like garbage
I past by that set and I kept walking. Saw them another 2 times at Mayhem Fest and Rock Allegiance. Every song sounded like it blended into the next one until I heard Raining Blood's famous guitar riff. The only movement by the band is Kerry King getting whiplash from all of his head banging.
