Yesss. Hopefully it's more balanced than part 1.

As always, I'll check it out but I can't help but feel their last 3-4 albums all just run together with nothing that really stands out.

For me it's the opposite. I think Colors through Coma Ecliptic is their best work.

    Regular

I feel basically the same. Colors is a masterpiece, but every record they've released since has had far too much meandering.

Yeah, this style of music they produce now just isn't for me. Seems overly sporadic, meandering, and noodling.

They really fell of for me after Colors, but Automata I brought me right back in. It made me have a better appreciation for Parallax II as well.

Same here. Not sure if they could ever top Colors.

They're supremely talented musicians, but the direction they decided to go in just isn't my bag.

Voice of Trespass is wild. I love the demented circus sound they do sometimes.

The Grid is surprisingly beautiful. After my first listen of part II I think Blot, Voice of Trespass, and The Grid are my favorites.

Personally I think Parallax II is up there with Silent Circus and Colors rounding out their top 3.
