Between the Buried and Me Setlist at Majestic Theatre, Detroit this was the only time I saw them, on the Great Misdirect tour. Still was a fantastic show.
My first time BTBAM setlist. Between the Buried and Me Setlist at The Masquerade, Atlanta Informal Gluttony directly into All Bodies was a trip.
Re listening to the new track on decent speakers. Ohh man. Also, the outro makes me really excited to hear House Organ.
Don't bog down an album thread with a bracket. This song rules, haven't really loved anything since Colors (top 5 metal album ever for me) but this has me intrigued.
It's really solid track. Really gives off some Parallax 2 vibes in my opinion. I really like the merch designs for the pre-order stuff. May actually pre-order just for one of those hoodies.
i love the new song a lot. i keep wanting to listen to it again. it's got everything i need, it's heavy, catchy riffs, great solo. glad to see them going for this sound after coma ecliptic!
Just bought the Parallax II and Coma Ecliptic live Blu-Rays. Will pay good money to whoever wants to clean my brains off the walls and floor after my head explodes.
My first introduction was the self titled back in 2006 but it wasn't until I heard Colors in 2009 that I fell in love. I remember sitting on the subway in NYC on vacation that summer and being mesmerized by the finals 4 minutes of White Walls hahaha A little late to the party, but better late than never. Parallax II is probably my favorite album of theirs though.
My introduction was a friend of mine showing me Croakies and Boatshoes shortly after Alaska came out, loved it. Been a huge fan ever since.
I remember I got a Victory Records sampler and Mordecai was on it. Picked up Alaska (it was around the time of its release) and fell in love. Been one of my top 3 favorite bands ever since. Parallax II felt like the peak of their sound to me. It had some of the spacey weirdness from Coma, the heaviness of Alaska and the scale of Colors all in one package. It's definitely one of their best. It's so hard to rank them all though. Really depends on the mood. Parallax 1 doesn't get enough credit either. It was a really sick EP. I loved those 3 tracks. The reverse (?) Desert of Song part always gets me. Just a solid fucking EP.
