I'm gonna wait to listen to this when I'm in my car driving to work. I REALLY like that rain jacket. May need to preorder.

Only listened twice so far but I think I like it. I liked Coma at parts but the theatrical nature of it kind of put me off so Im glad to see that that has lessened quite a bit.

BTBAM is one of the only bands I know that can make a nearly 7 minute song seem short.

Did Tommy throw in a "BLEGH!"?. :p

    Regular

looks like it's going to be "Rapid Calm"

i wonder if Casey will scream (there's not as much in that song as most BTBAM songs but there's a decent amount) or if he will do a more unique take on those parts. can't wait to hear it !

The split reminds me a lot of when boysetsfire and Coalesce covered each other’s song. Polar opposites but it worked really well.

I listened to Colors for the first time in a while tonight, what a fucking impressive album. It blows my mind how anyone is able to write something like that.

I'm still so glad I went to the Colors tour last year.

You'd almost think they'd have to be on some crazy mind-altering drugs to write some of this stuff but in reality almost all of them are straight edge.

Does anybody listen to Trioscapes? Dan Briggs is nuts in that.

Wish I could have seen them on that but I've seen them twice previously and have seen most of that album performed. Although not Prequel to the Sequel :(

I'll have to look into that. I've heard some of Thomas' solo material but that's about it. I've been meaning to check out Blake and Dustie's other band Glass Casket as well.

Glass Casket isn’t too bad. It’s more along the lines of metalcore of death metal.

Orbs isn’t bad either but I really can’t stand Adam Fisher’s vocals.

I’ve seen them with Animals as Leaders and Tesseract, and with Coheed and Russian Circles. Still really wish I caught the Colors tour.

Oh man. That Coheed/Circles show was my first time seeing them. God, that lineup was perfect.

This was one of the many times i've seen them, but it may be my favorite. I'm sure over half the audience didn't know who they were or what they sounded like. Opening with Astral Body and right when Lay Your Ghosts to Rest hit, the crowd didn't know what had just happened.

I did skip the Colors tour for two reasons. I had(and am currently) and little concert burned out, and also the fact that I've seen all Colors songs live anyway(except Viridian).

I loved that first Orbs record. Fisher has some...different vocals, but they really worked for that album.
