I met Conor during a Desaparecidos soundcheck at the Grog Shop when I worked there. Whenever Payola came out. He was incredibly sweet.

 

We only had about a 15 second long interaction with him, but he was very friendly to us

They were great last night! Really seemed like they were having fun.

Also met two Chorus folks! Nice to meet you @Larry David and @bachna84!

Overall great night. So glad this band exists.

 

So excited for Thursday. It's getting me through this week.

 

Cleveland show was great, and made me really depressed that I'll probably never see Conor tour as Bright Eyes ever again.

Also, Phoebe has a magnificent voice. I mean, you can tell on her records, but she's so good live too.

Also, really bummed that the BOCC vinyl was sold out.

the album or the 7”?

 

The full album was definitely sold out. I didn't ask about the 7" but now that I think of it, I don't recall seeing that either. They were selling two Conor solo albums and Phoebe's last album.

 

The plot thickens. I will be doing some serious sleuthing about the 7” on Saturday. Getting there at doors to investigate.

 

ahhh ok - we got in there shortly after doors opened and @Larry David picked up a 7” but i’m sure they had very limited quantities

 

I didn't get there until almost 9, so perhaps they had the album too, but it was definitely gone by the time I got there.

 

@Larry David care to confirm the vinyl situation?

 

no it wasn't

 

When we got there early they had the 12” and 7” but I can say that everyone in front and behind us was buying the 7”. From the Phoebe Bridgers group I’m in, it seems like each city has a limited number, number is just unknown

So the takeaway here is to get there shortly after doors to have a good shot at the 7”. Thanks for the info.
