First scene of Season 6 was Saul's mansion getting emptied out by authorities right? I guess the assumption is that's the start of the Gene era but who knows.
If there's no cinematography nom for this part 2 next year I'm really gonna bitch. In addition to every nomination it got this year of course lol.
I was kind of blown away by the shot where they were climbing the stairs at HHM and the entire image was a reflection in the glass. Super creative. Any other show would’ve just pointed the camera at Jimmy and Kim
Or as people in the replies pointing out VHS tapes degrading over time, either way this is some detail
Just seeing her absolutely at peace when Saul was telling her to undo everything broke me. She better get the goddamn Emmy I appreciated the subtle reflection of the flames from the fire pit on Gus' glasses when he looked at Don Hector
Which episode did Bob have his heart attack? A lot of people said it was this one but I read an interview with the writer of the last episode who said it was after the scene with Jimmy, Kim and Lalo in the apartment
pretty sure the BCS podcast said it was last week's, the scene with Lalo and Jimmy alone in the apartment ...imagine having a heart attack while you're acting being ziptied to a chair, jesus fucking christ
Yeah it was during episode 8. Bob doesn't even remember filming any of the Lalo stuff. The last part with Mike coming to the apartment was after he recovered
When Saul first pops up into bb to defend badger he pulls out a case for a public masturbator, in this episode he says he has a public masturbator on his docket, maybe we are picking up right when Saul comes into play in BB?
I think that the registration sticker on the plate conflicts with that (unless, as stated before, it is just super expired - which wouldn't be outside of Saul's character).
I thought about this as well however if it is indeed happening on the same day then Saul's clothes does not match: Edit: and given how precise the writers are I do not think they would make a mistake like this.
I thought they said Bob had his heart attack in his trailer and was with Rhea and Patrick at the time which is what saved his life?
"Seehorn explained that on that day, the three were hanging out in an empty studio while taking a break from shooting. Odenkirk was on an exercise bike while watching a sports game while Seehorn and Fabian chatted. Suddenly, Odenkirk began to fall from the bike, but his friends were quick to come to his aid. When they realized how serious the situation was, they immediately called for help, at which point the on-set medic Rosie Estrada began administering aid while transport was en route."
Sorry to shitpost while you are all talking about the new episodes. I am midway through s3 and it kind of sneaks up on you how good the show gets. I don’t think there is one single episode that kind of flips everything from good to great but it just consistently improves with each and every hour. I just watched the episode where Jimmy plants the cell battery in Charles’ jacket pocket during the trial and fuck. It’s all so gripping. And at this point for me I could just watch Mike do anything. He steals every single scene he is in. The cartel shit is getting interesting. Should be on to season 4 by the weekend!
