Lalo and Gus both died via the one time they let their emotions take control. Gus is dead because he wanted to keep Hector alive to rub everything in his face. Hector ends up being his downfall. Lalo is dead because he tried to rub everything in Gus’ face.
I don't keep up with any other shows so maybe I have no idea what I'm talking about, but has any other show experimented so much with shot composition and placement? Breaking Bad tried a few things but never to this level. I was trying to save the sixth season but with school coming back I figured I would catch up. Nacho's death was much better than I expected. I know Howard is going to die soon but I strongly predict it is going to be bad.
Kim frantically telling Jimmy to stop was chilling, phenomenal acting. I’m very happy she’s nominated, she BETTER WIN! I did love Severance almost as much as this show so both deserve to share accolades but Succession is just fine, good enough to watch but no where near as highly anticipated as the other two for me. I really liked the cinematography when Mike came in to the apartment with Jimmy on the floor. I turned my head sideways and the shot got twice as big but just as narrow which was a cool effect. So if that’s where their bodies are buried.. I know it makes no sense but now I’m going to be thinking of The Fly episode differently.
when Kim yelled at Mike "you were supposed to be watching, WHERE WERE YOU" tho like i physically recoiled from my screen lol
Yeah so, that was definitely a very intentional difference in response between Jimmy and Kim when Mike asked to hear them say out loud that they understood. Jimmy: I understand. Kim: It never happened. She only repeats back to Mike what he said to them both, but she doesn’t understand and this will be her breaking point. I’m still holding out hope that we’ll see her again in the Gene timeline, but God am I nervous.
If she leaves and we never see her again we can at least fantasize about her turnaround and amazing new life she found!
I was taken out of the moment when I realized that Lalo took Gus down to the lab and knew it was happening right there. Good drama for those that might not know BB but not for me I guess. The burial scene was…. tough to see.
Oh boy. What can you tease about next week's episode? It's bigger still in a lot of ways. Episode 9 is bigger and badder, and to my mind, even more heartbreaking than this one. 'Better Call Saul' producer breaks down Lalo-Gus showdown, Jimmy & Kim's future
Bob Odenkirk says he had his heart attack filming next week's episode of 'Better Call Saul' So Bob doesn't even remember filming most of that episode
I wonder if they’ll have “Gene” do a finale parallel to BB by having him somehow alert someone to the whereabouts of Howard’s remains like Walt did for Hank.
Wasn't in the budget but I couldn't help getting one of these. His bell rings! https://www.breakingbadstore.com/co...r-salamanca-bobble-head-from-better-call-saul
