Loved this episode! - That house really was tomato red, not fire engine - Lmao at the sign toppling over right as Howard drove off - I bought Howard not noticing cause he seemed just as distracted when he arrived and generally absorbed in himself - I have this theory that maybe the Howard storyline is gonna end up meeting the cartel world. Maybe Kim and Saul set him up against Lalo, bad things gonna happen - Loving how this show is getting closer to BB like Saul’s reputation taking shape. I’ve been really looking forward to the ultimate rewatch after the show wraps up, but wondering when the post BB Jimmy/Saul/Gene is gonna show up again. The end of the 1st part with episode 7 and the 2nd part taking place post BB? Last episode(s) with the series wrapping up in the future? Or maybe not even until the last few minutes of the show, I don’t know but I’ve been thinking about it since the show premiered. edit: I also definitely thought that was Anthony Carrigan from Barry in the car following Kim, but nope!
It was Hank, he wasn't living in NoHo at the time this takes place. The Chechens were doing an exchange program with Gus.
They HAVE to be building up to at least 1 full episode with “Gene the Cinnabun manager”. I don’t think they have enough time to wrap it all up in the first half of the season though before they get to that. I think they’ll dedicated a large chunk of time to it. There is so much mystique and intrigued built up around that for me I can’t wait.
Wouldn’t hate if the Pre-Breaking Bad stuff was wrapped up before the season split. Don’t think it’s likely though
It actually would be pretty cool if the second half of the season was all Gene stuff in the present day. Don’t think that will be the case either but it would be a really interesting decision.
Howard, Lalo and Kim feels like too much to wrap in three episodes to me but who knows with them. At least we can trust in them to do it right, whatever they do
I'm guessing Lalo and Howard are resolved for this half season, and Howard fallout/Kim and Gene split the second half. But maybe Lalo could have more to do with Kim than Howard's thing. I really don't know. Why I love this show lol.
Obviously there’s gonna be a full Gene series and every season will start with a black and white flashback to the Jimmy days
