Yeah big time shitty, silver lining is that I am going to be real bummed that it's over so it will be completely done..... later. Lol. That's cool I guess.
premiere for the second half will be 7/11 following a six-week break from the end of the first. sounds like a couple episodes will air back-to-back
“Fret not, fans dreading the end of Better Call Saul: AMC also revealed there will be three short-form shows inspired by the series for their digital platform. First up is Slippin’ Jimmy, a six-part animated series that “follows the misadventures of a young Jimmy McGill and his childhood friends in Chicago, Illinois” in the Seventies.” No thanks lol
Yes technically. Cutoff is in June, so the 2nd half will be eligible for NEXT year’s Emmys, almost a full year after the episodes aired lol.
Well they're 0 for 36 nominations, let's see how it works out Emmys still such a joke for that lol Edit: 0 for 39 Better Call Saul
Interesting decision to split because of the Emmys but I guess they are hoping for the 'sorry we overlooked you for years' votes. I am astonished Rhea Seehorn hasn't won yet (especially for last season). A lot of great dramas have been overlooked until the end so maybe for one of the 2 parts, it'll get best drama. Either way, a pretty short wait now! I will be able to watch the premiere, then I'll have to miss the next 2 as I'll be on vacation and doubt there will be too time to catch up (especially since I want to really soak them in). Sometime in April for season 5 on Netflix i guess. The final stretch! I have no doubt that whatever happens, it will have some of the intensity from last season. No more small stakes games for Slippin' Jimmy.
Starting S5 rewatch (thank you torrents/plex). Feels so good just to plug back into this world. I'm going to be so bummed when it ends.
