I still haven't seen season 5 and would want to at least rewatch Season 4 before I try to dive back in cus it's been years at this point so I'm considering just starting it from the beginning

 

people in the comments are assuming the premiere date will be 4/18 based on the "D" and "R" in the video

 

i hope we get a confirmed date soon because my plan is to rewatch BCS leading up the premiere, then start a Breaking Bad rewatch once BCS is finished

 

No need for a rewatch. Just call my dad he’ll tell you all the major plot points in painstaking detail.

 

4/18 makes sense. It’s a Monday and the current season of TWD ends on 4/11.

Has it been confirmed that it's a split season? I've seen that around a lot but I don't think from anywhere official. If they do split, I really hope we don't have to wait too long between each part. If the D and R does = 4/18 we'll probably get 6 or 7 that will take us through 5/23 or 5/30. Then I'm guessing it'd be September/Oct before more? Breaking Bad was a full year between parts (almost), but I don't know if it was all filmed at once like this was. If it drags into 2023 that'd just be torture. Besides the last of us, this is my most anticipated project for the year.

 

And for those who haven't seen Season 5.... Oooooo, ya'll are all in for a treat. I am as hyped for S6 as I am, mainly because of how great S5 was and I will 100% binge watch that before going into 6. I have already rewatched the whole series start to finish through 4 so just need to add a second run of 5 in and I'm ready to go.

I never watched BB til it was all on Netflix, so Ozark is my first experience with a split season and that was annoying as hell. Splitting this up may kill me. I think. Or maybe I'll be grateful it drags the show out longer. I really am not in a rush for it to end lol

 

The worst part about the split is the creators said they didn’t want it split but it was AMCs decision, so it wasn’t even written with a mid season finale in mind. Plus it’s only 13 episodes, so it’s like getting two mini seasons. Just a shitty thing to do
