Especially on a rewatch it's hard not to appreciate just how much thought they put into like every frame
Based on his recent interviews, he was not involved in the writers room for this season and he is no longer sharing the show runner position with Peter Gould, who is now running the show by himself. He's obviously still "in the know", but he's turned his attention toward other projects that have not been revealed yet
Hmmm the only show other than BCS he did after BB was that Battle Creek(?) show which didn’t pan out. I would love to see him start something new.
He said the writing for that mini series had slowed and that he was having trouble with it, but that he had another project that he couldn't talk about yet
Probably wont have a chance to watch until tomorrow night but also v hyped. Need to watch a recap first, I forget everything in my life.
One of my favorite aspects of this show is how they don’t ever really explain what Mike is up to, they let the story play out and it’s always awesome to get that aha! Moment.
This whole scene and then cutting to Mike at Madrigal was perfect. Thinking about it, I feel like nothing on air right now is remotely even on the same level as this. Everything about it is just so good.
Really happy for new episodes, last night was a nice primer for this season. I think what I am most/least excited about is how Jimmy loses Kim in his life, it has to be something awful, and I'm not quite sure when they will pull the trigger on it, could be this season.
Honestly struggling to think of a TV character I've ever found as watchable as Mike Ehrmantraut. Great episode.
Seeing Jimmy post-BB is always harrowing. I feel like because of this show, every time anything goes black and white I am immediately stressed. I am rooting for him to get a nice little ending.
I am just so fucking curious where the post-BB scenes are going to go. I want the series to end just so I know. But I also want it to keep going because it's very good. Fuck the tiny struggle
My guess is Saul gets caught in Omaha and Kim becomes his lawyer. The mention of her being from some small town on the Kansas/Nebraska border is too on the nose. I guess she eventually leaves ABQ and they reunite years later.
