Well color me fucking shocked. Im finally getting around to season 6 and for some reason I really thought Nacho was in Breaking Bad??? So I was stunned and so sad when he died. I think Better Call Saul has just been on so long at this point that he felt really familiar to me, plus I haven’t seen BB since before it started so details are hazy. Anyway RIP to a legend
He's not in BB but Saul does mention both him and Lalo in the scene where Walt and Jesse are holding him at gunpoint.
On season 4. There are multiple times per episode where i have to rewind to just watch the acting in a scene again. How Odenkirk or Seehorn haven't won an Emmy yet is beyond me.
Yeah you can definitely see where the writers started figuring out what they had in Rhea and just started leaving entire scenes without dialogue (on her end) cause they knew the subtle changes of her face would sell it better than any dialogue they could write
My buddy from college just messaged me the other day out of the blue and said he just started watching BB for the first time ever, but really wanted to start BCS now due to all the hype and asked if watching BB first was necessary. I said 100% absolutely.
I like that this show gets certain 2000's things right. I just saw Mike driving the beige 2000's model Chevy Impala with black plastic side trim, and i got nostalgia shills. The most 2000's car ever.
I’m pretty likely to watch breaking bad once I finish BCS, so it’ll be like going chronologically cus i barely remember BB at this point
Better Call Saul literally cuts between pre-Breaking Bad, during Breaking Bad, and post-Breaking Bad. It can't exist without the main show so you should always watch Breaking Bad first.
I think you could pretty easily watch all of BCS sans the last 4 episodes before watching Breaking Bad and have no trouble following it. You don't need the full context to understand the Gene cold opens or the random Saul flash forward in season 4. Just save the last four episodes to watch as an epilogue.
It would be cool to watch BCS first and then be like "oh shit it's Tuco from Saul. Oh damn Nacho wasn't lying about how crazy he is when he's using" lol
Totally forgot about this and I remember people were talking about the francesca phone appointment and didn’t remember what scene they were referring to.
Whew just got to the mid season finale of Season 6 and I did not expect that at all despite it seeming absolutely inevitable in hindsight RIP Howard
I knew someone would do this.. Full chronology of every bcs/brba scene https://www.reddit.com/r/betterCall...urce=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
