Rhea Seehorn with arguably her best work of the show. Phenomenal storytelling. God damn this show is incredible.
With Robert Forster sadly gone, I wonder if based on the teaser he tries to get vacuumed again, but can’t get a hold of him.
Man, whenever he told Kim to turn herself in and then the coworker immediately popped in and said “Time to sing!”, I knew shit was about to go down. That episode was incredible.
Kim to me seemed……happy(?) in her new life.(??). Content may better describe it. Far and away different from her old life. No more stressful day to day lawyer stuff. No more complicated jimmy drama. Obviously no more cartel stuff. She knew what her and Jimmy together did to her. She knew being mischievous caused her to have fun and she knew that wasn’t good. Obviously Howard’s death scared her. Heck, and her seeing Jimmy as Saul in that scene seemingly sealed the deal that she was absolutely over it. Doing orders for a sprinkler company and everything else we saw was something “normal”, no frills, cookie cutter, and low risk.
I want to know how the hell. The last 6 episodes (and probably 7) have been exactly what the show needed in the final season. Just an absolute masterclass in how to finish a TV show.
We just saw the last time ever Aaron Paul will play Jesse Pinkman. And next week we will see the last time ever Bob Odenkirk will play Saul Goodman/Gene/Jimmy and Bryan Cranston play Walter White. Also….. what are the odds we get a Chuck flashback next week?
Feel like a broken record but that was such an incredible episode. The colorized commercial within the black and white was such a cool shot.
