My SO just pointed out that Jimmy and Kim's current secretary is Saul's secretary in BB. I feel dumb haha.
I didn't notice that either. So he changes his name but doesn't go into hiding or anything if he keeps his staff..
I was trying to think of this as well...in BB, Saul is not really in hiding is he? Doesn't he have advertisements? People surely have to put 2 and 2 together that Saul is Jimmy...I'm still interested to see how that will all unfold.
Also, here's my recap. Spoiler alert for anyone who hasn't watched yet. ‘Better Call Saul’ Season 3, Episode 3 Recap: The Showdown Begins
Wasn't the guy that took over watching the lab when Victor was gone the one that drove Gus to meet Mike yesterday? I thought it was him.
He'd most commonly match up against Jimmy in those public defender cases Jimmy took on in the first season. They'd always have interactions at the urinals or vending machines with Jimmy trying to get lesser punishments for his clients. He was notably jealous once Jimmy got the Davis and Main job.
This show can burn as slowly as it wants to when it's this well-made and well-acted. It's a joy to watch and it truly does make me forget that I know (generally) where all this is going (at least with respect to Jimmy, Mike, and Gus, not so much Chuck, Kim, Howard, etc.).
I wanted to scream "continuity error!" When I saw Tyrus. I was always under the impression he was new, and replaced Victor. Though it's possible Gus just moved him.
Has there been any indication how long they intend this show to run? Obviously we don't quite know where this season is headed yet but with the integration of the Los Pollos crew already I feel like it could (I know it won't) wrap in 3.
Well, it's Season 3 now, so I'm sure we would know if it were the final season by now. I'm guessing 4 or 5 seasons though. I bet they're still holding out hope of getting Paul and Cranston involved.
They don't need to get Paul or Cranston. End it before all that. I feel like the 4th season could wrap things up nicely.
I agree that they don't need to, but I would love to see how this writing team would go about introducing them.
4 seems too soon to me, there's still too much to wrap up with Chuck and Kim and it seems like they're setting up Saul not handling his secret life as Cinnabon manager very well. I need more than 17 more episodes for all that when you consider Mike is half this show.
Saul series finale should include a Jesse and/or Walt cameo but I bet some would find that too cheesy.
If Walt or Jesse show up I'm 100% confident in it working and not being done just to do it. And I wouldn't be mad if they didn't show up. The show certainly is standing enough on it's own for me.
Saul was already well established as Saul and not Jimmy when he was introduced in breaking bad. I doubt they show up.
I could see Jesse showing up pretty easily, he did already know Tuco at the start of breaking bad and was the one who suggested they use Saul as a lawyer.
At this point, I'm more interested to see Jimmy coping with survival as a Cinnabon employee than I am seeing Paul and Cranston return.
