So Gene is just going full scorched Earth I assume because he was rejected or maybe He just lost his last connection to Kim. Didn’t expect him to go quite this far and stupidly pursue the cancer guy. Maybe he blames WaLt for all his life choices now and this guy is a scape goat? I’ve got a few wild theories. That the guy is dead and they just caused a huge issue for Gene. The guy is dying and Gene has to make a decision to call the ambulance to save him. Or the guy shoots Gene for breaking in and Gene dies from complications from the gunshot wound. either way. That opening had me so pumped. Wish we got a little more. Wasn’t really feeling one more extra montage with the friend of Jeff. Poor Aaron Paul. I love him but he just ain’t young Jesse anymore. Bryan, however was indistinguishable. What a champ.
Not to be a dick but do some of you not read the thread because there has been mention of AMC+ and no commercials like 3 times in the last month lol
Very good episode. I love that (for now) we're left in the dark about what was said on the payphone. I have my theories, but I'll give it room to breathe for a few days.
Has Gene/Jimmy used the pump and tube system to avoid getting inebriated before (I feel like he has but I can’t place it) or has he just been watching Nathan for You?
We'll see, but im unsure of if he spoke to Kim or if that was just a dead end and he doesn't know where to go next to reach her. With how angry he got, i think its more likely the latter, Gene screaming at some customer service rep who wouldnt give out any further personal details. It didnt seem like a reaction to a Kim conversation. Also, i feel like they're showing Jimmy/Saul/Gene making the bad decisions time and time again, but blaming others. Every single road hes gone down, he's had an out. Howards offer, Mike's advice, Jeff and friend saying its 1 too far and yet, he's pushed on. Saying Walt was an asshole with cancer, but showing he pushed the relationship. Not a big deal but its like Aaron Paul forgot how to play Jesse. Everything was just a bit off from his looks to his voice. Also honestly, with all the talk of how this season would change how we view some things in BB, its been a lot of easter eggs but nothing crazy. Still 2 to go, and there have been some great tie ins throughout the 6 seasons, but i just want that BIG crossover reveal. I dont know what, and we may not get it, but nothing has felt substantial yet (others may disagree).
I felt like there were moments were Aaron really felt off and other moments where he felt spot on. I also felt the same about Bob talking to Mike. Bob seemed a bit off in that conversation every few sentences.
Feel like ending the episode how they did 100% indicates he's about to get caught. The parallel shot of him seeking out Walt at the school...he can't get out of his own way even if it screws him.
It’s a tall order to recreate and splice in new scenes to one of the most beloved series ever a decade later. I think all things considered, what we got was pretty good. Definitely agree about some of it being a touch off but I don’t see how you avoid some of that considering the circumstances. BC was truly perfect though haha dude is a legend
Love how they had the ski masks on to avoid the bald cap fiasco. Also def didn’t get Kim on the phone.
It’s been stated that there is a scene with Walt, Jesse and Saul. Walt and Saul. And Jesse and Saul. I wonder if we will be getting the latter two in these final two episodes.
I can't believe how much Cranston looked like S2 Walt. Meanwhile Aaron Paul's beanie is doing some HEAVY lifting
Lol especially since his current look is some wild woodsman shit. He looked and sounded spot on. I say give Jesse a break for having to act next to him haha
