The whole heist sequence was great. I kept laughing at him reciting to himself the rhyme they made up to keep track of what to steal.
People who think “Fly” is bad episode are probably the same people who think The Last Jedi is a bad film.
Like others said we needed an episode like this. No idea where it’s going but I trust everyone involved
Triple post: I thought it was interesting that scene where Jimmy is telling Jeffey to say “We’re done.”. very similar to multiple late BB scenes
I tried to refresh my memory of the Gene info we had before this episode, and found this to be a good recap: https://tvline.com/lists/better-cal...d-video/better-call-saul-gene-omaha-season-1/
Mike and Gus are not gonna be happy about her quitting as a lawyer on the day Mike told her to be "business as usual."
Definitely wasn’t that DAY but I see your point and I never thought about it like that lol. That does make it seem suspicious
Honestly, i like the fly but we just have to get over being in the minority at some point and let it go. Its one of, if not the, lowest rated episode of the 62. Its okay to like it, while still accepting the fact that the majority didnt.
Would really be annoyingly impressed if BC and AP came back and played different/new characters in Gene time
I enjoyed this episode quite a bit. There were some good laughs and it was fun to watch the heist unfold. Also, being a college football fan, I loved the Husker talk from Jerry. Definitely felt like an intermission episode and I’m ok with that. I trust Gilligan.
I am guessing they showed Gene officially leaving “Saul”/“Jimmy” behind to open the door for a permissible reunion with Kim. Oh at least I’m being naively hopeful.
I think he's still a bit torn though so I don't think he left it all behind yet. He was being somewhat candid in his fake crying episode talking about how he had no one around him, etc. and he left the suit behind at the very end....but at the same time, he was really upbeat and happy at work and even went back to the store where Jeff stole everything, so it seemed like he was admiring his work and seemed to enjoy himself.
Yeah I don’t see him walking away from this experience and just settling into his normal day to day at Cinnabon again.
