now that you mention it i have seen like 'quiznos to go' places in airports and like rest stops in new york. everything is pre made though and you have no real customization options.
That's why only 11.1% of the population admits to enjoying them. They're all frequent flyers with jet lag who can't be trusted.
I honestly don't have a real true gripe with subway, kinda feel like when you go there you get what you deserve, it's the most fast food equivalent to a sandwich place, but, in a pinch it's fine.
I will write them a letter. It's okay. I just prefer a hard roll with my sandwiches and their bread is too soft. Most local hoagie shops around here offer you the choice of a hard or soft roll and the sandwich is always better on a hard roll imo. I used to be team soft, but now I'm team hard AF.
When I order at Publix my sandwich is ready on arrival and already paid for. So it beats subway in that regard as well. I don't have to talk to a soul.
in a pinch I will fuck with a meatball sub but most everything there tastes exactly the same and I just can't do it most of the time

I fuck with their sandwiches because there's a spot next door to my office. I only really order a veggie delight or a tuna. I greatly prefer Wawa meatball & cheesesteak hoagies though.
Jersey Mike's has the best-quality ingredients, but Potbelly and Wawa are both incredible. This is very hard. Going with Mike's for now but may change to Potbelly or Wawa later.

of these ive only tried jersey mikes quiznos subway and wawa. i probably eat at least 1 wawa hoagie a week tbh so i know their shit is good considereing im somehow still not completely sick of it yet. the new honey hot sauce they got definitely helps. id probably have to give it to quiznos tho, for my dietary restrictions i like their ingredient selection much better than the rest. im not the biggest sub/hoagie/grinder guy since burrtios are better but a few months ago i found a quiznos at a highway rest stop in the middle of nowhere and it was the only decent option for food and i was really surprised how good the veggie guac sub was. dont know wy that place struggles.
I’m not even from the south and i know the answer to this. The Jacksonville Jaguars Pub Sub is a top 3 sandwich I’ve ever had.
