Yeah. I have some friends who are massive Death Cab fans and I always stand my ground and say The Photo Album is my favorite. They often just smile and nod politely at me.
Yeah I sort of agree with some of his points, but I think it was a rather pretentious way to say it. Anyway, this was interesting, and I'm really into the new songs so I'll see how that ranks comparatively.
Followed by Stable Song, which I think is their most underrated song. "The gift of memory is an awful curse. With age, it gets much worse. But I won't mind."
My favorite song too. I was bummed that Plans had a trimmed down version of it but the video on the Directions release is fantastic.

There was a LOT of garbage emo bands, but he acts like there weren't an equal amount of garbage indie bands. Why feel the need to bash a genre who gave us Sunny Day Real Estate, Texas is the Reason, The Promise Ring, American Football, etc...
