Gotta say, this is one of the albums I’ve listened to most this year, and I find it very enjoyable and very frustrating The man needs to learn how to use autotune to his advantage - his writing is fantastic but his vocals are so obscured that I literally can’t make half of them out. Was that supposed to be the point? That said there are a handful of really beautiful tracks here, and Count Em Down is one of my favorite songs of the year. When that acoustic second half starts, I melt away.
Running through my top like 60+ albums from this year in order to build out my top 50 and like... this album is sooooo criminally under rated
Seeing the spotify listener counts for this album vs their last is real real sad. They deserve so much more recognition.
I should go back to it. Loved it so much when it dropped but then fell off with it really quickly. Feel like it happened with a lot of the early year releases.
yeah i feel ya. Theres so many quality early year releases that i fell off hard on for no reason. (Like i'm listening to Default Genders right now, and this might be one of the years best lol)
That record is so good. I never listen to it but anytime I do I always wonder why that is. The big one I was thinking of is the Sir Babygirl record.
No way! I assumed you were all over it. It’s like bubblegum pop filtered through diy/emo. Father/Daughter Records release.
Bellows was my most listened to artist this year on Spotify! Man, when TRG first came out I lived and breathed it.
