ahh I love this one

 

i feel like i never appreciate how good these guys are. they are seriously one of the most consistent bands in indie rock

 

What's a good RIYL

 

I'm finding it hard to make a good comparison here. press release offers this: Recommended if you like: Trace Mountains, Told Slant, Emperor X, sprawling and ornate rock. this is a short song from the last one that gives a good impression imo:

 

yeah im blanking on that. emperor x is probably the best comparison point, but early trace mountains is good too. theres really no one who does it like they do tho

 

I really think this band is one of a kind. But the scene they were a part of back in the day, the epoch, are where I’d start for an RIYL. Told Slant, Gabby’s World (FKA Eskimeaux), Small Wonder, Sharpless

new songs are great, cannot wait for the album
