Looks fascinating - can't wait to dive my brain into this story

 

Then again, looking at the Youtube comments, people are ripping it apart, notably people from the region saying what's shown in the film looks nothing like the city in real life

 

I mean Beirut in 1982 versus now is probably pretty different. My dad was just in Beirut for work, I'll have to ask him more about it. He said there's armed checkpoints all over the place.

I said in the MoviePass thread, I thought the last third of the movie was really good but before it heated up it was really boring. Should have been better with the cast it has.

at the end was it Israel that sniped the guy?

 

Totally forgot this came out; haven't seen much of any press for it. Will have to check if any nearby theatres are showing it

 

Yea I’ve been waiting for Hamm to return to drama forever and was sad this seems to have barely been advertised.
