This is a pretty great and understated record. Sonically it reminds me in places of the Faye Webster album from last year, with lyrics that kick you in the teeth if you're not paying attention.

 

This album rules, hope it gets a good amount of attention.

 

I saw her open up for Julien Baker on her European tour a few years back. Absolutely magical performance from both artists.
