FWIW, i love this film

 

damn I saw this literally the day I moved to the big city from a tiny country town. still have mixed feelings about the film but it certainly fit the feelings of disconnection and weirdness I was having

I don’t think I’d want to watch this with another person tbh. Better to take it in alone & give yourself plenty of time afterwards to come out of the ensuing “WTF?” haze

 

Watched this with my mom while she was visiting over the weekend. Definitely a choice!! (She dug it mostly though lol)

 

I love showing this movie to other people lol

Absolutely a spooky season movie, how is this a debate haha.

 

obv I can’t even make my point because I can’t make it without spoiling but I stand by what I said. There’s a time and a place to watch this movie and that place is in Hell.

 

I mean the first hour is one of the most terrifying experiences I've seen, but it's not horror in the typical sense. Fantastic movie and still my favorite movie from last year.

 

I think it's fine for spooky szn. Tbh I didn't find it scary, just very unsettling. Whether I liked the movie is a different story. I guess I can see how some ppl had fun w this tho. Surreal dark comedy is a good way to put it

yea it's a three hour anxiety nightmare comedy. Still need to rewatch it
