saw the Metallica "listening party" and people clapped after every song, saw The Covenant today and people clapped at the end

drove me up a wall both times

 

when I saw Vengeance (which I had to look up the name of because I forget it) a group of three started clapping and they realized they were the only ones and looked around so confused

Was Covenant good?

 

It was alright. A little too long but I might have felt the length because I watched How to Blow Up a Pipeline right before it (which I preferred of the two). I'd give it a B.

 

Should go well/be interesting lol

Welp my tickets for this just got canceled and looks like the theater isn't having any IMAX screenings anymore

Well my closest theater finally added showtimes but unfortunately no IMAX. Also better showtimes so I can go Thursday and be suitably stoned

 

my AMC is doing 3 IMAX Mario showings and 2 Beau showings this weekend. Probably gonna watch it Sunday afternoon?

I think I liked it. Was more of a straight narrative than I expected, but I'm still trying to process everything.

Guy in front of me said "what the fuck" and walked out 45 minutes in when a guy on screen was hanging full hog

 

Is this scary? Either like, dread scary or jumpy scary?

 

I would say it's easily his least scary film, it's still quite unsettling, creepy, and anxiety inducing though.
