Music has always been good but, dude's lyrics are

 

Amen. I'd love to see Caleb take a more mature approach to his lyrics someday, but if he's not gonna go mature he can at least not go full middle school cringe.

 

Thought the song was fun, but can agree about the lyrics.

 

This is one of those bands I've always heard about but never actually listened to anything. RIYL/where do I start?

 

Their most popular song is probably "I Have a Problem." "In Between" is a good one in regards to showcasing their sound. Heavy, and has a very melodic chorus.

Same for me. They can write good heavy songs, of course, but the lyrics are cringeworthy at best.

 

That's the thing, when I heard "I have a problem", I was stoked. It was so heavy, the lyrics were REAL. Like you could hear the sadness and anger, but man, if all he has to get mad about now is that some kid picked on him in middle school, you could at least use some metaphors haha

 

I'm really hoping this album doesn't take a step back from their last one, like it seems like a lot of bands in this genre have done lately.

 

Oof ya song is good but these lyrics are awful
