Bearings - Hello, It’s You (November, 20 2020) Album

New album out 20th November 2020.

Sway is such a straight up bop and has been suck in my head since I heard it.

 

This album's singles are so catchy. Some of the best hooks I've heard from the genre this year.

 

Their last record really holds up well, too. I still spin it frequently.

Shaping up to be one of my favourite records of the year.

 

Songs are all great so far. Blue In The Dark is still heavily in my rotation.

 

Not sure this is quite up with their debut for me, but this is a really great album still.

Feels like they took their current sound and mixed it with the kind of thing The Maine were doing on Lovely Little Lonely.

 

I respect this direction for them. I loved "Blue in the Dark" so much, but this is a whole different vibe. There's a lot of cool stuff going on in these tracks. Still only halfway through

 

"Lovely Lovely" is a jammmm, I love what they did here

 

It does have some of those same vibes for me too

 

Love Me Like You Did is the standout here

 

I liked this on first listen. Think I only gave their debut one listen so didn't know a lot about them.

Singer oddly reminds me of Joe from Transit.

 

Recommend going to listen to “Blue in the Dark” again too. Its different, but a very strong record. One of my favorites last year.

 

Damn, I love this album. Some absolute solid pop rock jams on here.

I like Blue In The Dark but this record hits my sweet spot just right with some late 2000’s/early 2010’s influences

They haven’t announced anything else…no hints either. Not sure yet…but I would imagine this is the start of a new cycle for them.

 

These guys just do pop punk so well.
