Here for that song. I know a lot of people want to see more growth from them on this album but I'm perfectly fine if this is all we get.

 

i think it's the weakest song they've released in terms of a hook, but other than that i like it, still good reliable beach slang atm

 

I pretty much agree with this. It doesn't have the instant sing-along quality to it that their best tracks do, but it gets pretty much everything else right, and I really like the main guitar riff.

 

Just read a bunch of the band's posts on Facebook and it seems borderline satirical, good for the dude if he really is always that positive though

 

this was basically me the first couple of times i saw their posts, but i think dude is just that positive. everything they do is too sincere for satire

 

dude is absolutely totally sincere...same way in person. either an incredibly good actor or it's legit

The new song is decent - stock standard Beach Slang. I just don't know how excited I am by that anymore. I guess we'll find out when the weather warms up a bit.

 

tbh I would have thought that was a song on the first album had I not known better haha

 

i cant get over how ridiculous this title is

 

I knew not to expect a progression since this was written like directly after LP1 but man it really needs to happen after this release

 

the lack of hype ive seen for this album has me worried.

 

I think everyone is burnt out on this band

 

I'm still excited to hear this album but yeah, the hype has been pretty underwhelming. I thought we would have at least heard another single by now.

I listened the album from last year and it just went in one ear and out the other. I'm gonna check this out though because of how much attention I saw them getting last year.

That joke is better than the last album

 

the album isn't bad, it would be even better if they weren't songs 9-18 of their career and instead were 1-10
that's the problem with this band: every new thing they do is diminishing returns
