We walked right over and caught the best part of that set. Which was "friends" obviously. I loved it then but looking back at the videos it sounds sooooo bad haha. Oh well. Watching those 3 dance together was great.

 

I think I’ve said this in this thread but beach house has one of the best discographies of the last ten years and if you haven’t listened you are majorly fucking up

 

There's a small list of bands I believe have an "elite" discography and Beach House is definitely in it.

Beach house arguably has more good records than any of those but the National too

 

Beach House wouldn't have the highest album on that collective list for me but they've destroyed those other bands in consistency, even the national. 7 very good records with a few legitimate classics ain't nothing to scoff at

i’m weird and i have a crazy soft spot for Depression Cherry but this album is really like...a big deal
