Lose Your Smile is emerging as my favorite.

 

Damn I knew it sounded familiar. Good ear

 

After two listens of this album it feels a bit underwhelming compared to the great reviews it's been getting. But I can tell that it's going to be a slow-burner.

 

Totally feel the same. It's obviously well crafted and they've made grower albums before, but after my first couple listens I'd be lying if I said I didn't think it's the weakest BH album. I need a bunch more time with it before really passing judgment.

Black Car is awesome, at least.

Man.....this might be their best record. Idk, I don’t want to overreact. Teen Dream is a cornerstone for me but this is so good. The transition from “Dark Spring” to “Pay No Mind” is perfect.

 

Need a lot more time with it but it's already up there with their best records (Teen Dream, Bloom)

Finally discovering this week that I like Beach House (via 7) is a musical chirstmas like no other. So. Many. Great. Albums.

Were you there for their set at Eaux Claires on the hill? I had just become a die hard fan a few months before and I laid in the grass on MDMA while they were playing and it's one of my favorite experiences ever lol

 

Well............. I'm a lil embarrassed to say I actually went to Francis because I wanted to be close for the incoming Chance appearance. It was cool being 10 feet in front of Chance but yeah Beach House woulda.been great. I made up for it by seeing them at Red Rocks with Fleet Foxes last year. Also fuck I need some MDMA again.
