I agree with Soccer Mommy, especially with what their set consists of now, is maybe not the best lead-in act to Beach Bunny. A number of people were also there only for Soccer Mommy, too.

It was a great time, just can't see it being at Salt Shed again. Multiple days at Thalia are probably where it's at.

 

I will say as an out of towner, the Salt Shed is such a very good venue. Free water and sunscreen, great mascot and near the water - a great time.

 

Was there low attendance? Bummed I wasn't able to make it this year.

 

I would say it was the most full during Soccer Mommy but only because some were only there for Soccer Mommy. It was still relatively full, didn't really go past the front of the sound tent, and many stands were either closed all night or closed early.

FWIW, Waxahatchee is also looking similar in terms of available tickets and that is tomorrow. I suspect people are holding off buying tickets because of the weather variance this time of year and then they just forget.

But yeah, I'd say that Beach Bunny would be better served doing this at a smaller venue if they want to do it every year.
