Looks like they moved the release date up a week to today, the entire album is out now.

 

this is kinda going in one ear and out the other on first listen but I really really like Post

 

Yeah this album was pretty nap worthy to me until Post started playing lol

 

well I guess Post is a good song

 

"Ever Seen" stood out to me on first listen

 

On first listen this was a real bore. Echoing everyone that Post was the only standout. Will have to give this another chance soon.

 

I feel like Bea has a great album in her. She just hasn’t found it yet.

 

Beatopia was pretty great to me! This one was boring on first listen unfortunately. I still think her best overall project is Our Extended Play by far

Damn, this is way better than I expected based on those reactions (and Beatopia, which I liked but thought was just decent). Some fantastic production and pretty interesting chord changes in the songwriting. I was thinking about going to the tour mostly for Hovvdy but I'd be excited to hear a lot of this live.

 

I like all of this but I'm not in love with almost any of it. Might be a grower?

 

She shared a playlist and it makes me want her to go full emo on an upcoming release

I should also revisit this one, which came and went for me. beatopia was one of my favorite 2022 albums so it saddens me that this one didn't click as much as its predecessor and the standalone singles released inbetween.

 

Blatant rip-off of Aphasia by Pinegrove. It's one thing to be inspired but this is straight up thievery.

It's pretty obvious. And she's a big Pinegrove fan as well so it's not like she can play dumb. It's pretty blatant but fans are gonna fan.

 

Yeah not a fan fanning, I just don’t think it’s to the extreme of acting like that and calling it thievery. But good thing you got reddit receipts to prove to me that you’re still acting like a baby.

 

Tonight was my first time even hearing the song btw. Haven’t even listened to this album yet. But I still have to blindly come to a stranger’s defense because someone’s angry on the internet obviously.

 

Just not a fan of low effort "lol what?" posting.

Hopefully Evan Stephans Hall gets some royalties to that track. Pretty obvious she was fiddling around with Aphasia and put a spin on it.

Idk how saying “lol what?” to someone being irrationally angry over something that’s far from thievery is that crazy. Your life will still be okay if that creep never gets a cent again. You don’t have to be mad.
