I was really into Space Cadet and Fake It Flowers, but I haven’t fully clicked with anything since then. Idk why. Listened to her last one and thought it sounded great, but then I never had the urge to spend much time with it. Maybe I need to get some of those songs into a bigger work playlist. And maybe this one will have a kick to it that hits better for me. The single sounds cool. And, I like there being involvement from Hayley and Chino.
This is exactly how I felt when I saw Cigarettes After Sex announce an arena tour and come to find out they had like 40M monthly listeners. There really is a whole other world out there…but good for Beebadoobee!
She's huge with the younger crowd and especially on TikTok. When I saw her at a small but very packed venue a few years ago, I was stunned to be, kids' parents aside, among the oldest attendees. I was 27 then!

Her show on the last tour was literally the last thing I did before having a kid lmao and I spent 2/3 of it trying to not lose my mind as the tween next to me slowly encroached on more and more of my space. Felt ancient worth it to see hovvdy though and her set did increase my interest in her music by a lot
