Hayley Williams and Brandon Yates of turnstile are on album. Chino from deftones is also listed as a collaborator
“Pylon is set to feature an all-star cast of collaborators: Hayley Williams sings on "Nothing To Prove", while Brendan Yates (Turnstile) offers a verse to "Powerlines." There are also appearances from Evan Stephens Hall (Pinegrove), Chino Moreno (Deftones), and Shane Moran (Title Fight), as well as production contributions from Dirty Hit labelmates Matty Healy and George Daniel (The 1975).”
Pylon touches on classic grunge, midwest emo and ‘90s radio rock, zeroing in on a sound that is both more intense and more direct than any of her previous records
Very into this single, much more up my alley than This Is How Tomorrow Moves. The guitar work combined with the fuzziness is kinda reminiscent of Johnny Foreigner. Appreciate hearing a more aggressive vocal performance this time, it suits her well.
I feel like she's been on the cusp of breaking into the mainstream for the last 5 years. Might be finally happening.
The only features immediately visibly on Spotify are Hayley and Brendan, so I’m just going to assume until further notice that those are the only guest vocal contributions
