Self titled or sirens

 

Walking Wounded.

 

I think that Sirens is the best, but I know that album isn't for everyone. In particular, the lyrics get pretty dark, even for Bayside. I think that for your average music fan S/T will be the best early album. I'm also in the minority in that The Walking Wounded is one of my least favorite Bayside albums. I love every single one, but TWW is down the list for me.

 

Self Titled and TWW are pretty much a tie for me as their best. I also adore Shudder but I'm probably in minority. I think Sirens is their worst album by a long shot, although I still enjoy it.

 

Shudder is number one for me. Then Killing Time.

 

Walking Wounded is always my go-to but that's a top-five album for me in general. I've been finding myself listening to Shudder a lot more the past year, though.

 

Killing Time is hands down my favorite Bayside record.

 

Walking Wounded is their best with S/T being a very close second.

 

Walking Wounded turns 10 today.

 

Their best record by far.

 

Walking Wounded is the best followed by self-titled. Sirens isn't that good. The latest would come pretty close to the top for me.

 

Very much forgetting Killing Time, their actual best!!!

 

S/T is their best I think. Walking Wounded and Killing Time are insanely close to it though. All 3 perfect records

IMO:

TWW > S/T > Vacancy > Killing Time > Cult > Shudder > Sirens

 

I'm like sure Shudder would be your pick

 

Haha. Gotta love personalized recs like that 1. because they tend to work and 2. because you're immediately curious what other people think of you via this rec.

 

They didn't make a good record until Killing Time, so none

 

i feel like the story with their first four records is the same as everything after. half of it is good to great and the other half i never go back too. walking wounded is probably the strongest all the way through though

 

Shudder is probably my second favorite Bayside album

 

How are they live? Seeing them with Say Anything. I'd say I'm familiar with a lot of their stuff, not all of it as I find them to get repetitive sound wise but a couple of hit songs here or there stick with me.

 

They're consistently good live. Every time I've seen them they sound excellent.

Well since that's the best Get Up Kids record, that bodes well.
