Damn, Shudder still holds up so well. Still my favorite Bayside album. Going to jam Killing Time next. Killer follow up.
cannot remember the last time i jammed these guys, a thing i need to amend because i used to be a big fan of them around the start of college, but killing time was always my favorite album from them with shudder probably at 2nd. really love that period of this band, found it to be the perfect middle ground of all the things i liked about them
Happy 15 to killing time (my favorite album from bayside) http://youtube.com/post/UgkxM88X-DsILCJR9UXm89S8PzXGaxBGtJte?si=-yIAMaF6BieVIGIk
Sorry for the random bump but with their recent social media posts about "Day 1" and "Day 2", is it possible these guys recorded an album and didn't tell anyone- and are now doing photo/video stuff in prep for it?
I saw IG posts of them writing in LA as recently as last week. So whatever it is, they're currently in the middle of it, I'd bet.
I’d definitely prefer it over the slow dripping singles and EPs over the course of years and then eventually combining them into an album approach haha
Yeah, it's just throwing me a bit that the posts have a lot of photography/video equipment in them...nothing that made me think "oh look they're recording an album."
"it will be out next year" Oh well, I was looking forward for new Bayside in 2026 but hey at least there will be new music for 2027 too.
