that’s awesome. I love that he’s such a Star Wars / DL fan. Cant wait to see these guys again in September.
They should all be on YouTube, but I’m not sure if Saddest Song is. Not sure I’ve actually heard that one. Monster is a really cool track
Okay jumping in here quickly to say that I have always been a very casual Bayside fan and the last album I really listened to in full and invested time in was Shudder. For some reason this morning I had Masterpiece stuck in my head so I put on S&C and now I've just decided to do a full discography run-through. On the S/T now, but I am curious about what I should expect? look forward to? potentially skip over? Thanks in advance for any thoughts!
Genuinely enjoy all of their albums. Interrobang is my favorite by far, so definitely look forward to that one!
All their albums rule. Cult is the worst but still pretty good, imo. Shudder is also divisive among fans but personally I think it’s one of their best.
Not a bad LP in their discog, but I agree with @ncarrab thar Cult is probably their worst. Killing Time, S/T, and Walking Wounded are widely regarded as their best
I got thru their debut, S/T, Acoustic 1, and The Walking Wounded today and S/T is my favorite so far for sure but i enjoyed it all. Starting with Shudder tomorrow.
Bayside is a lot like Rise Against in that they just make Bayside records and there’s a base level of quality that they never go below but also they’re never extraordinary either. Definition of a solid band.
I mean it’s of course subjective, but I would say Bayside definitely have a few extraordinary records
Yeah I think Bayside’s later catalogue is very good whereas rise against is not but maybe has some tracks
I did not like Vacancy when it came out and did like Cult, but I've flip-flopped on that one. My only real complaint with Vacancy is that The Ghost sounds EXACTLY like No One Understands.
