I noticed there wasn't an album thread for this yet.

Really excited for this. I know they get a lot of criticism for not changing up their sound enough, which I get, but I still tend to love all their albums.

I think it's Anthony's voice and vocal delivery that makes this band work so well.

Been listening to Enemy Lines pretty regularly.

Enemy Lines is great. Hoping for something better than Cult. Didn't hate it. Just meh.

Yeah I really love this band despite the "same album, consistent catalog" criticism. All 6 records and all the demos/b-sides are great. Very excited for this, new song is gold.

    Shut Up

This band's sound just does it for me, so while I understand the desire for them to experiment a little more, it doesn't matter all that much to me.

Really excited for the new record. Like others, Anthony's vocals and writing style just hook me every time.

new song "Pretty Vacant" is up on itunes. Sounds like Bayside with slight Weezer undertones.

Very 90s alt rock with the guitars. Really like the lyrics. Good song.

Figures I should of waited before buying. Oh well. No harm in supporting these guys.

When the full band kicks in at 11 seconds on the new song "Pretty Vacant", something about it sounds like a bad engineering edit. Anyone else hear it?

Really digging this new song. Two in a row for me, so hyped for this album and glad this band is still making music.

So I had to listen to Enemy Lines for a few days before it "clicked" with me but now I love it. I think this song might be like that; not super stoked on it after 5 listens but I'm going to keep listening to it and wait and see. I really need to just accept that I'll never get to relive the feeling I had the first time I heard "Blame It on Bad Luck" or "Landing Feet First."
  20. idk when I've Been Dead All Day came out but I like it

Bayside has been one of my favorites for a long time, but these songs aren't clicking with me. Maybe in context they will. Could be because I'm not depressed and angry at life/girls anymore, haha.

After two listens, this is probably my favorite album they've done since Shudder.
