I don't doubt that it's real, but I find it super bizarre the band didn't announce the album title/release date when they announced the tour.
I kinda wonder if this is in part to fulfill a label obligation? Hopeless isn't exactly promoting/into pop punk anymore, so maybe they can package the EPs into an album to help end their contract. I liked the actual song release schedule, it was nice to get a new song every couple of months, but at this point the actual album release day will be like two new songs.
The Devils clip is absurdly good. All these songs are very good. Yeah, the rollout was a mess but I’m glad to finally get all these songs packaged together.
Probably going to try to hold off on listening to anything else until April And then hope that the next album has a more conventional/expeditious rollout
Only thing disappointing for me with this album is that by the time I hear it all I'm already looking forward to the next one years from now since I've already heard most of this a ton.
