So long as Bayside plays “A Synonym for Acquiesce” on night one I won’t give a single care nor complaint about whatever else they play.
I got tickets for both nights. I am guessing these will be shorter sets than normal - probably 15 songs per night (which is still 30 different songs they need to prepare for - which is more than usual for them ).
Hell yeah, secured a ticket to Night 2 in Seattle. I know it's blasphemy but I got into Bayside around Killing Time and really only love everything they've released after that. Not interested in the old stuff. So this is PERFECT for me. Side note: interesting they aren't doing songs from Cult.
I have done back to back shows for different bands and actual 2 night shows for the 20 year TBS tour. It’s fun. The roughest was a festival and then a show the next night though. But back to back normal shows have never been an issue for me. For the Bayside shows though, I’m going to get a hotel since I’m coming from Pittsburgh. I’ll crash after night 1, go check out the rock and roll hall of fame for the first time, and then night 2.
I did TBS 20 back to back too. Didn’t love that I had to see TAYF on back to back nights so I’m excited that at least these shows will be two entirely different sets.
5 songs from each record the first night and 4 from each record the second night would be perfect. But I think we all sadly know they're going to mostly S/T and Walking Wounded night 1
Yep. I think we maybe get Boy, St Valentine and one other from Shudder. We will be lucky if we get anything outside of Masterpiece off of Sirens. Picking up my tickets for night 1. I think night 2 will take longer to sell out and I’ll probably wait until we get setlist for that. I’d go if it was a heavy on Killing Time/Cult/There are worse things.
I Think I’ll Be Ok was a staple for a little bit I can see that coming back. Sirens I think they’ll do just enough to love you as well
Pretty safe to assume we'll get most of the songs below: I could see them rotating between S/C songs. I've seen most of those songs at some point in time live. But they always seem to be rare when they're played. Night 1: Masterpiece Guardrail Alcohol/Alter Boys Peanut Bad Luck Montauk D&D (closer) Strong Hands TWW Horses Duality Carry On Landing FF Boy Moceanu Night 2: Already Gone Sick, Sick, Sick (closer) Killing Time Big Cheese (ugh) Pigsty Mary Pretty Vacant Interrobang Bury Me Prayers Strangest Faces Good Advice How to Ruin Everything It Don't Exist The Devils
I noticed the VIP packages include a 7" of a pre-recorded version of Devotion and Desire, so I wonder if that will drop on streaming services around the start of the tour.
Were they only doing limited 2-day passes for this? Chicago says it's sold out of them but there's still single days for both, which seems...odd.
