probably a 1 in 100,000,000 chance but I would love Sirens and Condolences. Already saw the self-titled. It was good, but people didn't go as nuts as I thought they would.
The only albums I'd want to hear in the entirety would be Sirens or S/T. I can't recall but have they done a tour for either of those before?
I'd love for them to play Shudder. Other than The Walking Wounded, that's my favorite Bayside record... And it's never been an album they played a lot of songs from live. That and I've already seen the self-titled.
Hmmmm so I wonder if they're going to do other albums at the other shows? Or maybe that's the only one That'd be awesome to see though
im feeling like it'll be a different album each show, id love to see KT or even Vacancy but Shudder is my top pick. Im seeing them 9/9 on Long Island so hoping to get an announcement soon as well
As someone who loves Shudder, has seen Bayside 20+ times and knows they never play Shudder, AND is going to this show...HELL FUCKING YEAH.
Bummer that they're only doing it on that one date... Fingers-crossed that they opt to play Shudder at the Riot Fest After Show with New Found Glory. Sidenote: Great to know that other people love Shudder too! I always assumed I was in the minority with that one being my #2 favorite of theirs.
Back when I reviewed for APnet and gave Shudder like an 80-85%, I got so much shit for it in the comments, haha. A lot of people call it out when naming their favorite album, and I can't help but feel a tad vindicated
Been listening since Sirens and Condolences was released and Shudder was love at first listen for me. Boy is such a great opener (and that breakdown is epic live), Rochambo absolutely rips, What and What Not has some of my favorite Bayside lyrics...goes on and on. All killer, no filler. Wasn't it the last album they needed to make to get out of their Victory contract? I presumed the idea that they had to rush through it was way they never played it live and seem to hate it. Again, pure speculation on my end. Side note...as mentioned I love Boy, but it is the exact same thing:
