They said the eps will be combined into a full length when they’re all released, so I’m not worried about it. When that comes out, I’ll remove the eps from my library and pretend they never existed in the first place lol
Still follows the trend of releasing a whole album before release. In the age of streaming, it seems single fans out-monetize album fans.
Guessing that was just temporary art until they announce blue. Strangest faces came out with different/non-red artwork at first too
Go To Hell is still one of my favorite Bayside tracks in years. Has anyone heard everything yet that's supposed to be on the consolidated ep/album thing?
If I remember correctly, I think it’s supposed to be 3 EPs combined into one album. Red (3 songs), Blue (4 songs), TBA (4 songs) I could be misremembering or plans could have changed, but that’s what I seem to recall
I wish they'd just do what taylor swift did and just separate the album into eps after release lol. I was just curious if any of the 95% of members of this site who are apparently reviewers who get albums early have heard it.
I'm almost certain that the EPs are actually being written/recorded as EPs, not a whole album. I saw some interview with Jack and Anthony recently (I'll see if I can find it) where they talked about their process for releasing music this way and it's been a better process for them that has resulted in a few much stronger songs rather than a group of some very strong songs surrounded by weaker ones. So even if it's released eventually as an "album" it's going to be a collection of songs and not crafted as an album I'd think. I could be wrong on that though.
https://vk.com/filter_rock?w=wall-23787907_33556 These guys are reporting the Blue EP drops March 17th and is three songs. They're usually pretty good about their information.
Haven’t seen the full setlist yet but I see they opened with Big Cheese tonight and also played Hate Me. Interesting choices.
I know I'm gonna look at the set beforehand but maybe put the spoiler tag on the song titles for other people @ncarrab Either way yeah, very interesting choices.
I don’t have anything against Cult, just surprised to see not one, but two songs from Cult on the set, especially the opening song. I have seen them open with BC before, but that was during the Cult tour, so it made sense.
