I don’t really care what colour it is because as soon as these are combined into a record I’m going to forget these EPs ever existed
Also worth noting he said that the band thought Just Like Home was going to be a huge hit among fans (thats why they named the tour after it etc) and they believe it fell short and wasn't really paid attention to and now they may not even play it on the tour lol
It’s hard because it’s a 3 song EP. Strangest Faces was an easy first single choice because it’s so Bayside/catchy/show tune-y. The Red EP is solid through all 3 songs though and the songs were released over time. I guess they take a lot from crowd response and look closer at the online plays than fans would as a business. Black EP is already 1/1.
It makes sense. Their set lists have always been curated around playing fan favorites for the most part. It’s honestly one of the more frustrating things about the bands live show because the setlists can get stagnant due to a lot of Bayside fans only liking the Self Titled/TWW/random singles from other albums.
I would like to hear all 4 new songs for sure. I’m assuming we’ll have one more or maybe the whole EP by the time the tour starts
I think I liked the Red EP songs in the order they were released in. Strangest Faces was my favorite, then Good Advice, and Just Like Home was solid, but definitely my least favorite off the EP.
Go To Hell easily the best, and I think I actually like Strangest Faces better than Good Advice. Just Like Home wasn't too memorable, comparatively anyways
God dammit. The band is just following the trends (they've been very open about it): eps over albums now the features. I get they have to because it's the business but is nothing sacred anymore?
