Cult is at the bottom for me and I still quite like it

 

Honestly, the only song in their entire catalog that I even remotely question is Something’s Wrong. And even that starts off good.

 

Easily my least favorite on there

 

Will never get the Cult hate. At all

 

Cult isn't bad but at the time it was just the most basic Bayside record they could have made

 

Cult is definitely their weakest effort. I dig.. maybe 5 tracks?

I never return to the record though.

 

Also, Moceanu is pretty mid.

Moceanu should have been left off the album.

Should have cut "Howard" for You've Already Been also. I Think I'll be Ok is a great closer.

I love Moceanu, but Howard is probably my least favorite Shudder track

What a great record overall though

 

Has cool moments but it’s very whatever and also doesn’t fit on Shudder at all.

“I Can’t Go On” might be my least favorite, but I don’t think it’s “bad”

 

Something’s Wrong, Howard and I Can’t Go On are probably my three least favorite Bayside songs.

 

I Can’t Go On is fantastic and always hits me in the feels. The only thing holding it back is production but that’s Shudder as a whole lol

 

I'm confused how you think this is "on the nose." I'm not sure what you think the meaning behind their name is, but it's literally where they're from. They're from Bayside, Queens, NYC. So they chose the name Bayside.

 

New EP is good. Needs to be longer though. Should’ve just used them for a new album.

 

The joke flew over your head. The previous post listed "5/11 - dcfc, 5/12 - bayside, 5/13 - jesus comes back?" And I replied "Jesus seems like an on the nose name for a band." I didn't mention Bayside at all. I was talking about the "jesus comes back" part.

 

Also, wild that person joined this forum literally to make that one comment about a joke I made five months ago. Weird.
