Any idea if it's sold out? I'm still debating going tonight.

Yeah it's sold out. Emo Night isn't though.

Yeah, I'm not doing emo night because it doesn't sound like a ton of fun to someone who doesn't drink and is slightly socially anxious. Stoked to go to Revolution Hall for the first time though. I've heard very good things about the venue and I'm kind of excited to have seats for a show like this.

I figured as much. Not super bummed since I'm not really into bayside or reggie anyway. I still feel like I might hit up emo night because those are so fun and it's on a Friday not a Tuesday haha.

Yeah it's a great venue. I was wary about it when I saw Why? there because I was like "is there not going to be any sort of pit?" but they clear out the first ten or fifteen rows for people that want to get that close, or you can sit in the seats downstairs or upstairs. Plus it's an old high school!

i went to the seattle date on friday, and was actually kinda disappointed in say anything's set. it felt super short and no encore. i saw someone posted the austin setlist, and was kinda anticipating 'the presidential suite'.

They didn't play the presidential suite on Friday? Ugh. If they don't play it next week when I see them I will be super upset. Did they play last?

    They played it in Portland.

I was looking at setlist.fm and it looks like Say Anything cut their set to like 13 songs? Pretty bummed about that, even though I'll have a great time regardless. Hopefully they add a few for Chicago.

Yea just looked too on setlist.fm..... It looks like they have cut- Jiminy, Peace Out, and Signal the Rifleman from the set from the beginning of the tour. And now maybe Presidential Suite? Ugh. I hope not.

bayside closed out. i thought this was co-headlining, so i thought we would get some kind of encore? Idk how that works, but i really wanted to see the presidential suite

How is Max holding up on this tour? I loved SA the first two times I saw them but last time was suuuuper rough and the videos out there from the past couple of years have been tough to watch.

I've seen Say Anything 7 times over the last 7 years (with the majority being in the last few years), and I've never had a bad time at a Say Anything show or felt that Max performed less than brilliantly. Yet I see that complaint all the time. Maybe I'm just usually so busy singing along I don't notice? Or I've been lucky.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Max was absolutely shit faced last time they came to the Crofoot. They sounded awful.

Yeah same I've seen him a bunch of times and never had a bad experience, I can understand why those who did would be upset though

Can definitely respect Say anything/Max, but I never was into them and didn't enjoy their set when I saw them on that tour they did with Modern Baseball.
Hoping Bayside plays 2nd on the Baltimore date so I can call it an early night, haha. Digging the Bayside setlist, too. Wish there was more from Vacancy but overall I like it!

Anyone know what say anything merch looks like at this? Especially in the vinyl department? (Or other cool, unique items?) is there a Painful Splits cd this go around?

I am interested in merch as well.

Also: looked at the set from last night and now Say Anything cut Jiminy, Nibble Nibble, Signal the Rifleman and Presidential Suite. Ugh. I am super bummed if it is like this next week in Buffalo.

I knowwww. When Bayside closes I guess Say Anything is now doing a shorter set. I just wish they would pick different songs to cut out because I was really excited to hear Presidential Suite and Signal the Rifleman for the first time live. I also wish I could know/figure out how they are determining who is closing every night. Oh well- I guess I should be positive- Say Anything hasn't been to Buffalo in forever so I am excited to see them either way.

Man this was such a fun show. Reggie was a fun opener, and I had so much fun during Say Ahything. Their set was way too short, but it was also one of the most fun SA shows I've been too. All the people around me were really into it and had a great time. And it was great to see Bayside again after like 5 years. I honestly forgot how much I like and know some (most?) of their songs. I felt like a kid going to my first few shows again.

Emo Nite was fun too, although i had to dip out early to catch my train home (suburb living sucks). Hearing Motion City while at a bar in Wrigleyville is never an experience I thought I'd have.
