This feels like classic bayside

 

So far these songs give me a Killing Time vibe.

 

All of this Sirens hate is bumming me out. I definitely think Cult and Shudder are a tie for the worst. Both seemed rushed. My order, for what it’s worth:

1. Killing Time
2. Bayside
3. The Walking Wounded
4. Sirens and Condolences
5. Vacancy
6. Shudder
7. Cult

 

Holy smokes the first three songs on this record are AWESOME

Also the mixing is gorgeous

Holy hell Bury Me is a BANGER. That guitar solo y'all... damn! 3/3 now.

Could this really be the best Bayside record yet? Could this really dethrone Walking Wounded for me? I'm starting to believe it can..

Bury Me rips, an immediate favorite. My lord this will be a fun cut to hear live.

 

Yea based on initial impression, I think Bury Me is better than both Interrobang and Prayers.

Makes me very excited for the remainder of the album.

 

I believe this is the song Nick said was his favorite on the record, or the one that had his favorite bass line. Can’t remember which. Either way, it fucking rules.

 

I don't think I have been this excited for a new Bayside record in probably like.. a decade? The hype is real.

very happy to actually be excited for a new Bayside album again. last few releases I've just been "meh" during the rollout. This shit rules.

 

Oh man. This might be the best Bayside record...

 

so far it definitely sounds like it's gonna rival KT

on IG, jack did a Q&A and he said there are no slow/soft songs on this, only rippers.

 

Someone in the artist thread mentioned that there is one slower song like "Mary" on Vacancy, but otherwise they're all bangers.

 

yeah to clarify, he said there are no songs like "on Love on Life" or acoustics like "peanut", there are slower tempo songs but they're still all heavy A-F

 

I think Heaven is the only song on its thats a change of pace, according to the podcast, but they said it totally works. Maybe like On Love, On Life on KT.

 

Anthony sounds so good in this song too. They are crushing it

 

The guitars when they come out of the first chorus around 1:20 are my favorite part of this song. Just a wall of epic noise

 

I think I might need to pre-order this. Only other bayside album I own is Shudder.

I have the first acoustic cd/dvd too. I’m actually in that dvd screaming how they “fucking rule” while wearing an old rise against shirt haha.
