Gotcha, yeah I can agree. Definitely very dark and brooding as well, so similarities are apt.

 

I liked the pilot. They fit a lot into one episode, but I get it, since it’s an origin story and they were setting everything up. It was very fast paced and seemed like a regular Arrowverse show from what I’ve seen of the other CW series. It was very very faithful to the comics.

 

Episode two was awesome. Ok, I’m fully onboard now

 

I'm enjoying this show so far. I was so sure I wouldn't like it, as Batwoman is one of my least favorite Batman characters.

 

Why?

I enjoyed the show but I did find Ruby to be a bit flat. I'll be curious to see how the powers that be navigate this.

I love the character, so I'm hoping for the best.

 

I'm only on ep13, so how's this gonna work? Do they just recast the role?

 

Dang. I only saw the first few episodes, but I really liked them.

 

They either just Flash her out of there and bring in another earth Batwoman or she gives up her mantle to someone else because anyone can wear that wig haha

 

I think they’re just going to re-cast the role. They’re not going to switch the person under the mask. And there aren’t any other earths anymore.

 

They can always bring back other earths.

 

Any reasons as to why? I read that it’s due to a neck injury that has been bothering her but I don’t know if that’s true.

Probably because she's a terrible actress and that's the only constant complaint everyone has about the show.

 

rumor online seems to be that she was difficult to work with or there were some bad vibes with her and was forced out and is just making it look amicable

 

Whatever the case, they’ll have plenty of time to find a new actress to play Kate I suppose.

 

Imagine my absolute and complete surprise

 

I would 100% support this casting.

I legitimately know nothing about Ruby Rose outside of the fact she was Kate Kane/Batwoman in S1. What did she do to make people hate her so much?

 

I’m betting they won’t. It’ll just be like when Maggie Gyllenhaal replaced Katie Holmes in The Dark Knight.

 

I guarantee the Legends will mention it
