    Embrace reminds me of (good) Foo Fighters more than anything but can hear some thrice too now that I'm thinking of it

    While we're making comparisons, the intro to "Sever" sounds like Anberlin's "A Whisper & A Clamor"

    Record is fantastic.

    Never been an “album’ guy for these lads but this is really doing something for me.

    Also love the production on it, which I feel like is typically mostly miss for me when bands go for this sound

  11. I love about half of this currently, and it's not like I hate the other half, so I'm hopeful it will continue to grow on me. I don't love the production on some of the songs, but regardless, I think it's easily their best (and most interesting) songwriting since Promise Everything (if not the Further Sky EP).
