broken by design is growing on me but WIRED is nowhere near the volume or intensity I would have expected from a track 2... One nice thing i can say right now is they kept it fresh. It doesn't sound like their old stuff.
like both of them. I feel like this is a band that has grown with me over the years from 2010 to now. goddamn.
yeah, honestly kind of checked out of this band after Colourmeinkindness because everything after blended together for me. This track sounds like Pinback and I'm way more interested
Exactly where I’m at. I’ve always been more of a casual Basement guy, only really come back to a few tracks per album, but the early Death Cab/Pinback sound on Broken by Design has me intrigued.
I got Brand New vibes from Broken By Design. I’m all in on Wired though. Love that song. Reminds me Blur and that poppy 90’s Grunge sound. I want one more song before I decide to pull the trigger on a pre-order.
Both songs are okay, definitely seems like a more stripped down sound than their last couple of records. I think it could be a grower of a record.
See, even these responses confound me! It's okay at best to me, the chorus is like nails on a chalkboard, I don't know man lol. That being said I dig these two new songs a lot and am one of the dozen or so people who actually really like 'Beside Myself' so I'm definitely an outlier.
