Liking this a lot so far. Got a lot of JEW vibes on the last record that are even more present/stronger now

 

This sounds like something Drive-Thru Records would have released in 2004.

 

I was coming in to ask what this band sounded like and saw this and I guess I'm listening to it immediately

 

Definitely some strong Jimmy Eat World vibes, but doesn't sound like a total ripoff. I'm loving it so far.

 

"New Coast" is a jam.

 

One listen in: This thing frickin slaps. Reason For Breathing is v cool and different to hear from these guy.

 

Yea I'm really into this. Just enough of a different vibe for them to feel fresh, but it still definitely sounds like Basement. It might be their most immediate album for me.

 

Loving this. Might like it more than Promise Everything, can't see it touching CMIK though

 

Anyone think this sounds like Jimmy Eat World?

 

Great album. Can’t wait to keep playing it, so many catchy hooks.

Promise Everything never really kept my interest. I like this a ton and it’s only been six songs at the moment

 

This is a great freaking album, so many good things coming out lately I dunno how to juggle between them, mewithoutYou took a backseat so far from me out of all the goodness.

This album right here can be characterized in two words "good vibes". It instantly makes me upbeat.

Eve actually made me stop listening to mewithoutyou and then this just added to it. If I had to say out of Palms, Eve, this, and mewithoutyou I've listened to mewithoutyou way less and that's not to say that album isn't glorious, but there's so many good things out now.

 

keepsake and new coast are ace

 

Really enjoying this. The bridge of Ultraviolet is veeeeeery Separation-era B&Cish

 

What an album. It's definitely better than their last one.

 

The chorus in "Disconnect" sounds like The Jealous Sound and I love it.

 

Loooving “New Coast”. Was always on the fence with Basement, but this is great so far.

 

Yeah this is a hell of a lot better than Promise Everything, I love this

 

Nothing After Stigmata is grabbing me. This just stays too samey for me that it bogs down in the back half. Reason for Breathing was okay.

 

Wish the whole album was in the vein of Stigmata.

 

Listened to this all the way through today. Yeah it rules but I’m a little disappointed it drops off slightly towards the end. First half is all killer though.
